I've been wanting to improve on my pixel art skills, and so to practice, I decided to do a pastiche of one of my old pieces. I thought this was the best idea since I knew how I wanted it to look, and I knew the characters I would be recreating incredibly well. I started off by blocking out my shapes with an outline, blocked in my color, added a colored background, added depth, and then finished the background.
